Admission Criteria

To determine whether Dore Academy is the appropriate setting for your child, we require the following criteria:

• The results of a psycho-educational evaluation within a three year period determined by a licensed psychologist working independently of the school

• Average or above average intelligence as measured by an individualized intelligence test (such as WISC IV)

• A diagnosed learning disability and/or attention-deficit disorder

• The ability to function appropriately in small groups

• The school does not accept students whose difficulties are primarily behavioral or emotional.
